Police seeking woman caught on elevator video after allegedly drugging a man in his home and stealing $600k of jewelry

Miami police are seeking to identify a woman caught on elevator security video after she allegedly drugged a Florida man and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from him.

Video showed the man bringing the woman home with him at about 5:30 a.m. on May 8 after meeting her at the "Dirty Rabbit" bar, according to police.

He told police that they had drinks and he passed out shortly afterward. The next thing he remembered was waking up at about noon to find that his safe had been opened and the girl and his jewelry were gone.

Officer Michael Vega explained to WPLG-TV why the woman appeared to be carrying two Solo cups on her way out of the residence.

“Now sometimes you might say ‘Oh, well she’s just leaving with a Solo cup.’ No," said Vega.

"She’s taking the Solo cup that she drank because it has her DNA. She’s taking his Solo cup because it has not only his DNA, but it also has whatever drugs she put in," he added.

The victim doesn't want to be identified, but he offered an additional $10,000 worth of reward for information leading to the arrest of the woman.

He said that the items stolen included two Rolex watches, a gold chain, gold bracelets, Cartier sunglasses, and a diamond ring.

Police described the woman as having a height of about 5 feet 9 inches, weighing about 140 pounds, and in her 30s with long, black hair. They are asking for the public's help in identifying her.

“These are super, super clear images of her,” added Vega. “We know that somebody’s going to see her and either know that they were also a victim of her or that they know who she is.”
