Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy battle it out at GOP debate: 'You have no foreign policy experience, and it shows!'

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley rhetorically tackled entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy over his foreign policy inexperience at the first Republican primary debate Wednesday evening.

Haley jumped into the debate to scold Ramaswamy over his lack of support for Ukraine against Russia.

"If Russia, once Russia should take Ukraine, Poland and the Baltics are next. That's a world war! We're trying to prevent war," she said and went on to cite murders attributed to Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin.

"This guy is a murderer, and you are choosing a murderer over a pro-American country!" said Haley to Ramaswamy.

Many in the audience applauded loudly, and the two got into a shouting match.

"First of all, Nikki, I wish you well on your future career on the boards of Lockheed and Raytheon," he joked.

"I'm not on the boards of Lockheed and Raytheon!" Haley said and went on to list foreign policy items she disagreed with, including Israel.

"Under your watch, you will make America less safe! You have no foreign police experience, and it shows!" she said.

Haley received loud support from many in the audience.

Ramaswamy also got slammed by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was on the attack for much of the debate.

“Hold on, I’ve had enough already tonight of a guy who sounds like ChatGPT!" said Christie, referring to the artificial intelligence application.

“The last person in one of these debates," Christie continued, "who stood in the middle of the stage and said, ‘What’s a skinny guy with an odd last name doing up here?’ was Barack Obama. And I’m afraid we’re dealing with the same type of amateur.”

Former President Donald Trump refused to participate in the Fox News debate and instead had an hourlong interview with Tucker Carlson that was released just minutes before the debate began. That video garnered tens of millions of views on social media.
