Trump bashes 'Radical Left CRAZIES' in statement celebrating Easter
April 04, 2021
He has been very vocal in written statements
Former President Donald Trump released a short statement celebrating Easter Sunday while bashing the "Radical Left CRAZIES" who he claimed rigged the election.
Trump repeated the claim that led to his social media accounts being suspended in January after the lethal rioting at the U.S. Capitol.
"Happy Easter to ALL, including the Radical LeftCRAZIES who rigged our Presidential Election, and want to destroy our Country!" said the short message.
The former president had previously weighed in on the controversy over Major League Baseball pulling the 2021 All-Star Game out of Georgia over the recently passed voting reform laws backed by Republicans.
"Baseball is already losing tremendous numbers of fans, and now they leave Atlanta with their All-Star Game because they are afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter I.D., which is desperately needed, to have anything to do with our elections," said Trump in a statement released on Friday.
He expanded on those comments on Saturday in a longer written statement.
Trump has taken up residence at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, after he moved out of the White House in January. He has made occasional appearances on cable news and released various statements on politics. During an interview on Tuesday he said that he was considering running for president again in 2024.
