Designer says Harvey Weinstein is ‘wonderful,’ blames women ‘asking for trouble’
October 10, 2017
Fashion designer Donna Karan went on the record with some bizarre and offensive comments related to producer Harvey Weinstein.
The film mogul behind “Pulp Fiction” and “Shakespeare in Love” has been accused of sexual misconduct by many women from his years in show business. After the flood of allegations finally went public, the Weinstein Company’s board of directors has given him the boot.
"You look at everything all over the world today and how women are dressing and what they are asking by just presenting themselves the way they do,” Karan said. “What are they asking for? Trouble."
Those comments came after she called Weinstein and his wife “wonderful people.”
