Former Pussycat Doll: Trump hate is a ‘waste of energy’

Singer Kaya Jones joined “The Glenn Beck Radio Program” to talk about being a conservative in the music industry and why being outed as something other than a progressive is far worse than anything else.

“It’s worse than coming out,” Jones said of being a conservative in entertainment. People who come out of the closet are praised and supported, but those with a different ideology get “the opposite,” she explained.

“Hollywood really needs to take a giant step back,” Jones said. “They’ve lost their minds.”

The former Pussycat Doll commented on comedian Kathy Griffin’s shocking image of a bloody President Donald Trump head: “It could be anybody; she shouldn’t be doing it.” Griffin has apologized for a satirical photo of her appearing to hold Trump’s decapitated head, and she has been fired from her New Year’s Eve gig co-hosting the celebration with Anderson Cooper on CNN.

Jones decried progressives who are endlessly hating on Trump and distracting from issues that actually affect people.

“We’re not talking about the real issues that are going on,” she said. “It’s a waste of energy.”
