Mark Levin: YES, Democrats ARE coming for your guns

"Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15": Infamous words spoken by former Texas Democratic Rep. Beto O'Rourke, who just might become President Joe Biden's gun czar.

As the mass shooting in Colorado become the next story to be used in the Democrats' playbook, the left wasted no time in politicizing the tragedy to do away with Second Amendment rights in the name of safety and "gun control." There's only one problem: Nothing that they are proposing will do anything to stop anyone from murdering other people, warned BlazeTV host Mark Levin.

"This is about getting rid of the Second Amendment," Levin stated. "There are efforts underway by the Democrat Party and their surrogates now to unleash litigation against gun manufacturers in order to prevent them from creating the products that you and I want to buy under the Second Amendment. There have been efforts underway to limit the number of bullets you can buy. There are all kids of proposals out there that have as their purpose to destroy the Second Amendment."

Levin warned that if our constitutional rights, put in place to protect us from the federal government, can so easily be done away with through executive actions, this could be the perfect setup for Democrats to consolidate their power and trample the Bill of Rights.

"They want to exploit this massacre in Colorado," he said of the Democrats. "They exploited the one in Atlanta for racial reasons, and now they want to exploit this one for gun reasons. You're never going to have a 'fix' and you're never going to have parties uniting. It's politics all the time, 100 percent. And the Democrat Party is always about power, power over you. And whatever they pass it's going to affect you if you're a law-abiding citizen."
