Superstar actor Chris Pratt wasn’t afraid to open up about his faith and advise the next generation to seek God in his speech at Monday night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.
What did he say?
Pratt accepted the Generation Award and took his role as a generational leader seriously, sharing his “Nine Rules” for life.
“No. 1: Breathe. If you don’t, you will suffocate,” the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor warned. “No. 2: You have a soul. Be careful with it.”
Wow, tell me more:
For rule No. 6, Pratt shared this gem: "God is real, God loves you, God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do." The eighth rule went hand in hand: “Learn to pray. It’s easy, and it’s so good for your soul.”
Pratt wrapped up his speech by reminding the audience that each person is “designed” to be imperfect and that’s OK – because we have grace.
“That grace was paid for with somebody else's blood," Pratt said. "Do not forget it. Don't take it for granted.”

Doc was excited to highlight this awards speech on today’s show. How refreshing is it to hear a celebrity being frank about his faith while still cracking jokes and appealing to his audience?
