WATCH: Operation Underground Railroad's hair-raising child sex trafficking sting

Two to four million people are bought and sold across international borders every year. Half of those human slaves are children who average in age from 11 to 14 years old. Sex trafficking is a $32 billion industry that spans the globe.

These statistics make the situation feel hopeless -- but there IS hope.

The dedicated team at Operation Underground Railroad is on the ground, going into some of the darkest, most vile places on the planet to rescue victims of child sex trafficking.

TheBlaze’s Jason Buttrill joined the O.U.R. team on a touch-and-go sting operation in South America. Their mission: to catch a sex trafficker known as “The Professor” and rescue a group of enslaved young girls.
