Surfing around the DC blogosphere, I was surprised to come across this story about a group of young children who were taken out of school to walk in a Fannie Mae Help the Homeless "mini-walk."
I'm all for supporting the homeless, but should kids really be taken out of school to participate in social activism activities? Could this be one of the reasons why our children don't know how to read or do math? Just sayin'...
