After a lengthy period of attacking Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly since the first Republican presidential debate, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump tweeted a very different message to Kelly on Friday night:
Thank you @megynkelly for the nice things you said about Melania. You will like her, great heart and smart - always wanting to help people!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 3, 2015"Thank you @megynkelly for the nice things you said about Melania," Trump wrote. "You will like her, great heart and smart — always wanting to help people!"
During her program earlier Friday, Kelly blasted coverage of Trump's wife Melania, who was referred to as a "mannequin" in New York Times piece. The same article also said that "were it not for her husband’s presidential aspirations, [Melania] might resemble that of any number of trophy spouses in New York ..."

"Really?" Kelly asked.
"If somebody else did this about a Democrat, the New York Times would by crying sexism, but they can do it, it's fair game because it's Donald Trump's wife and he's running as a Republican," Kelly added. "It's really disrespectful."
