Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke with ABC News Sunday about the terrorist attack that occurred at a gay Orlando nightclub last week.
Trump claimed that "everybody knew this guy had a problem" referring to the killer, 29-year-old Omar Mateen. He noted that in one case, a gun store owner did report Mateen, but no action was taken at the time.
"So what does that say to you?" the ABC reporter asked.
"It says very sad," Trump said. "That's what it says. I mean, to me it says very sad."
"I'm a big fan of the FBI, but they had a little bit of a bad day," Donald Trump said of authorities' response to warnings about Mateen, who had been on an FBI terror watchlist twice.
