Chelsea Handler is getting lambasted online for this obscene joke about Melania
September 29, 2017
Comedienne Chelsea Handler is being lambasted on social media over yet another inappropriate joke about the Trumps, and especially first lady Melania.
What did she say?
Her insult came in the form of a tweet mocking the first lady.
"Melania to host a discussion on opioid abuse," the tweet read. "She says unless you have to have sex with Donald Trump, you have no excuse to be on drugs."
What was the response?
Handler's joke was assailed by many on the other side of the aisle in a range of responses from saying it's not funny, to criticizing her for joking about a horrific drug epidemic that is taking Americans lives on a daily basis.
Give up on the normal comedy stuff, and just stick to drunk tweeting, Chelsea.

Does she have a pattern of this behavior?
This is not the first time Handler has been berated online for unseemly jokes. In July she pushed a debunked story because it fit her political agenda, and in June she ripped into Ivanka Trump with a profanity-laced rant.
