Florida woman threatens to kill ex-boyfriend, new girlfriend if they didn't have Christmas threesome with her: Sheriff

A Florida woman demanded that her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend have a threesome with her, and threatened to kill the new couple if they didn't have sex with her, according to police.

Cynthia Ann Ray, 38, was arrested on Monday and charged with a count of aggravated stalking and one count of sending written threats to kill, court documents say.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff's Office received a "criminal mischief" complaint around 8:30 p.m. on Christmas Day, and were dispatched to a residence in Groveland, Florida.

Ray's ex-boyfriend reportedly informed police officers that his ex-girlfriend had been harassing him and his new girlfriend.

The Florida man accused Ray of slashing the driver's side tires on a new truck belonging to his current girlfriend when the vehicle was parked outside of his home. After the damaged tires were replaced, the boyfriend claimed that Ray punctured the tires a second time, and then stayed outside the house while honking her horn.

He also claimed Ray randomly showed up at his house "without him wanting her to be there" on multiple occasions over the past few weeks.

The former boyfriend said he received menacing messages from his ex-girlfriend threatening to kill him and his current beau unless the new couple had threesome sex with her, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

"He then pulled out his phone and showed the messages to which he had not replied, however, there were numerous messages in a short period of time,” the affidavit declares. “The messages that he was receiving while we were on scene were over random topics but stayed consistent with (Ray) saying vulgar language to him and telling him she loved him."

"The defendant did send a message to the victim saying she wanted to have sexual intercourse with him and his girlfriend and if not, she was going to kill them," the affidavit states.

The ex-boyfriend allegedly sent a message to Ray demanding that she stop harassing him and his new girlfriend. Ray reportedly replied that "she did not care and was going to continue" to send messages to him, according to WOFL.

Law & Crime reported, "When deputies found Ray, she was inside of a tent put up on her mother’s property. She claimed she had not left the residence all evening, but deputies said the hood of her car was still hot from having recently been used. Inside of the car, deputies said they found a knife."

Ray was arrested and booked into Lake County Jail on $15,000 bond.

Ray is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 22, 2024.
