Patriots player says he refuses to attend White House celebration — but he would love to meet Obama

'Obama, man, come holler at me man!'

The New England Patriots' safety Duron Harmon told TMZ that he would not be going to the White House to celebrate their victory in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

"Naw, man!" Harmon said to a TMZ reporter. "They don't want me in the White House, man."

But although he didn't want to meet with President Donald Trump, Harmon was enthusiastic about the suggestion from the TMZ reporter that perhaps he could meet with former President Barack Obama.

"Obama, man, come holler at me man!" said Harmon. "We love you over here man!"

Harmon is the first Patriots player to indicate that he would skip out on the celebration at the White House of their 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Harmon is a three time Super Bowl champion, all of which came with the New England team.
