'We like our beer cold, not woke': Sanders trolls Bud Light, capitalizes on brand backlash with 'REAL WOMEN OF POLITICS' koozies

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) is trolling Bud Light with a video advertising "REAL WOMEN OF POLITICS," koozies.

The ad, which is an apparent play on the old "REAL MEN of GENIUS" ads, suggests that "you can salute the real women of politics" at barbeques and tailgates, but if the koozie "covers up the label of a big woke company, well, that works too."

Each of the koozies bears the message "REAL WOMAN" and features one of four female Republican governors, including either, Sanders, Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, or Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds.

"We like our beer cold, not woke," Sanders tweeted.

Sanders, who took office earlier this year after winning election in the state's 2022 gubernatorial contest, is the daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee — she previously served as White House press secretary during a portion of President Donald Trump's tenure in office.

Anheuser-Busch has been facing backlash after enlisting transgender figure Dylan Mulvaney to advertise Bud Light.

GOP presidential primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has also sought to capitalize on the wave of anti-Bud Light sentiment by selling "BUD RIGHT" koozies that bear the messages "TRUTH OVER RELATIVISM" and "COURAGE IS CONTAGIOUS."

A video shared on the DeSantis War Room Twitter account also spoofed the old ad campaign by focusing on the "real men of women's sports" — the video directs people to an online store where they can purchase Team DeSantis "Freedom Heavy" merchandise.

"In Florida, girls play girls' sports and boys play boys' sports. That's why we are replacing Bud Light with FREEDOM HEAVY," a tweet states.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, is widely viewed as a figure who might launch a White House bid.
