Will Caitlyn Jenner's comments on the VA shooting be the latest outrage of the day for liberals?

Caitlyn Jenner was glad GOP lawmakers were OK after the shooting last week in Virginia, blaming “crazy people” for the terrifying incident – and jokingly adding that “liberals can’t even shoot straight.” Was her comment out of place? Doc Thompson and Brad Staggs weren’t offended, but Doc had other concerns about our society on Monday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”

At the College Republican National Committee's convention over the weekend, Jenner commented on the shooting as part of a larger discussion. Her remarks were shared on Facebook Live by a Virginia College Republican group, the Washington Examiner reported. While the original video appears to have been taken down, the clip still lives on YouTube.

"Nobody deserves what happened out there," Jenner said of the shooting. A gunman targeted GOP members of Congress last Wednesday, injuring five people, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. "There's no justification," she said, blaming “crazy people” for the incident.

Jenner said it was an “absolute shame” that people were injured in the shooting, adding, "Fortunately the guy was a really bad shot. … Liberals can't even shoot straight."

Shooting suspect James T. Hodgkinson seemed to have been a progressive activist based on his social media posts. He reportedly had a “kill list” with the names of three GOP members of Congress who are also members of the House Freedom Caucus.
