Understanding why evangelical conservatives are giving Trump a pass on Stormy Daniels

On Tuesday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat wrestled with the fact that leading conservative evangelicals don't seem all that concerned with President Trump's alleged extramarital affairs.

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, who knows of Trump's transgressions and alleged affair with Stormy Daniels told Politico that despite everything that's transpired during Trump's presidency, Christians were just “tired of being kicked around by Barack Obama and his leftists. And I think they are finally glad that there’s somebody on the playground that is willing to punch the bully.”

When asked if supporting Trump is the "Christian" thing to do by Politico reporter Zack Stanton, Perkins said, “Whenever the policy stops, and his administration reverts to just personality, that’s where I believe the president will be in trouble.”

Pat also brought up Reverend Billy Graham who appeared on MSNBC on Monday to discuss the president's policies and whether they align with Christianity.

Graham admitted that while the president is far from perfect, everyone's benefiting from his policies and "we should be grateful he's been brought to Washington."

See below.

"Nobody says anybody's perfect but there's such a big difference between perfection," argued Pat, "and cheating on your pregnant wife with porn stars."

Are Christians at an impasse in regards to supporting Trump?
